LIVE POP PV AT GILLOWWell – what do you want to hear? I’ll try to do that, seeing as you’ve asked…

My public and private performances range from solo spots, via duo, trio and quartet to five piece band, and from formal concerts to background music.

I choose songs or instrumentals especially for each occasion and the material varies from full-on jazz improvisation to easy listening classics,  nostalgic memories or recent chart songs.

And, if it’s a band gig, I create an ensemble of fabulous musicians to join me in making sure your event goes with a swing.   I also work as a guest vocalist with other bands when invited to do so.

There’s a list of repertoire here.  It’s pretty up to date, but I learn new songs constantly, so if there’s something not on there that I don’t sing and you think I should – tell me!

There are some soundclips here:

Typical length of performance ranges from a single set to up to three 45 minute spots.

I’m happy compering and fronting my own and other people’s events.  I aim to be professional, practical and helpful in every way I can.

I am a fully insured member of the Musicians Union.  I have a PAT tested PA system and full size stage piano.  I can provide recorded background music in band breaks if required.

I’m a former journalist, PR person, and project manager, so I’m pretty good at writing press releases, designing posters and making sure things get done as promised.   I want to make sure you are pleased with what I do and book me again.  But I’m also old-fashioned enough to care about doing a good job, simply because I think that’s important in itself.
